I went to a great XBox360 Lan party over the weekend. I would have liked to have a bit more time to hang out and play but I did have a good time. We played Gears of War mainly while I was there; I missed the Rainbow Six Vegas but that's ok. I had a blast and will have to go again sometime, with some luck I might be better at surviving but that's what I get for mostly playing MMORPGs.
Should I take down my Christmas tree? Yes; we’re those people.. it’s a fake tree, which by the way looks fantastic.. kudos to the Mrs for scoring that ausome tree!.. Anyway.. We pulled everything off of it but still didn’t take it down.. So here is an idea; a few years back when I was doing a gig up in Jersey I noticed that people had wreaths hanging on their doors.. now that doesn’t sound odd at first glance but this was not the holiday season or at least not one that I was aware of. So how about if I just leave it up all year? Would that be bad? When people come over they can say what a nice tree we have in the living room and I can take pride that I’m just a little but odd.. no.. twisted.. yes I like that. Ok; maybe I’ll bag that sucker and put it in storage this weekend but I’m sure my little guy will miss it being there.
Ok, I’m not a big sports fan or anything.. um Rock Climbing rules.. there I said it! Anyway; come on now... I’m not sure how stuff like this gets out there but the NFL is getting picky about what size TV you have... if... you have friends over to watch the Super Bowl... and... your TV is 55” or larger. Heaven forbid you should be one of those people who are breaking a copyright law by doing this. It just doesn’t make sense to me that people actually pull this sort of crap. One of these days I’m sure they will get a dose of their own medicine but in the mean time I thing a lot of people out there are just thinking they should shut their mouths and let people enjoy the sport they love.
