First impressions.. In some ways it reminds me of both WoW and also DDO. There is some definite DDO feeling to the game so far and that’s good from my perspective singe I really enjoyed that game. I made a fighter toon and he has done pretty well so far. In just a few hours of play time he is getting close to level 10 already. I think the progression is kind of fast actually although I don’t know what the level cap is.
As for the Open Beta the level cap is 15 but that should give me a chance to play several archetypes and see which one I like. I normally go for the healer and also for the single best solo player since my play time is spotty and has a lot of start and stop to it. The current plan is to raise up several toons of different types and that will allow me to determine if I’m in for the long haul.. if that’s the case then I might spring for the one time fee so I don’t have to worry about it again… I tend to play for a while, take a break and then return so that might suit me well..
If your into this type of game then I would surely give it a try when the open beta starts on 4/6.. the launch date is 4/24 or 4/25.
Thank you to whomever you were that built my 2004 Tribute. Unfortunately on Monday, just 3 short years later, it met its fate but it kept me safe as I was spinning around and rammed the back end into a tree. I'm sad to say it was a total loss with more then $11k in damages.
And to that other driver that caused this to happen and didn’t even stop… you suck!
What should I play this weekend? Guild Wars is having double faction and unique PvE drops. Dungeons and Dragons Online is having a Welcome Back Weekend where old accounts can come back to play. Of course there is Xbox 360, it’s been a little while since I played any of those titles and I downloaded the HD South Park episode.
I guess we’ll see what happens.
